This level of support goes directly to the 2,500+ women and men that Haven Hills supports annually. Junior Achievement

JA Classroom Volunteer - JA classroom volunteers lead JA-developed lesson plans that teach financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship in K-12 classrooms throughout Southern California. After being matched to a classroom and attending training, you will deliver engaging, easy-to-follow lessons infused with your unique experiences.

JA Finance Park Volunteer - Volunteers spend the day in JA Finance Park® simulations where they will help a small group of students create a personal financial plan.

One Spark Academy

2019 Giving CampaignSupport this online fundraiser to fund scholarships, as well as innovative programs! One Spark Academy offers beyond the core subjects (English, math, etc) like courses in cooking, financial literacy, and music. Funds also support the garden and its outdoor adventure activities.

Tierra del Sol

Each year, Tierra empowers over 800 individuals with developmental disabilities annually across Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties through Workforce Development, College to Career, and Careers in the Arts.  We believe each person has the right and potential to become productive citizens, who are accepted, included, and valued for the contributions they make to the economic, civic, and cultural vitality of the community.  We invite Exchange members to join us, and a social movement, that gives people with disabilities the chance to live a life of dignity and purpose. How you can get involved:

  • Shop our holiday boutique - Beautiful, handmade, one-of-a-kind textiles, ceramics, and fine art for the special people in your life! OPEN: Monday-Friday, now until December 20th, 9am-4pm, 9919 Sunland Blvd., Sunland, CA 91040.
  • Year End Donation - Consider making a donation that WILL give back to the community this season.

Valley Village

The mission of Valley Village is to protect, foster, develop and advance the rights and interests of people with developmental disabilities. Exchange members are invited to participate in two upcoming holiday activities for clients:

  • Bowling at Corbin Bowl from 12 - 2pm on December 27th
  • Movie Day on December 26 (Time TBD)
  • Universal City Walk on December 30 (Timing TBD)

Western Los Angeles County Council - Boy Scouts of America

The Western Los Angeles County Council supports individuals, families, and community organizations by providing values-based recreational and educational programs and activities that develop young people of character as defined by the Scout Oath and the Scout Law. Support BSA - WLACC through the following exciting opportunities:

  • Outreach Matching Gifts Program - BSA - WLACC is excited to announce it has received a $100,00 matching grant commitment for every dollar donated to the Outreach program.
  • Sponsor A Scout - for $250, you can sponsor the membership of one Scout for a year. It's a great investment in our youth and the community! All sponsorship amounts are welcome.
